I just started a Fiver gig because I want to make more money and give my blog more exposure. Today, I am taking you guys on my Fiverr journey and share with you my experience.
What is Fiverr
If you haven’t heard of Fiverr, it is a site that connects buyers and sellers, promotes quick and convenient transactions, and produces fast and quality results. If anyone look wants content writer, logo designer, movie editor, programmer, music composer, or anything else you can think of, Fiverr has it all broken down into different categories.
My past experience with Fiverr as a buyer
On Fiverr, you can either be a buyer or seller. When I started selling t-shirt back in 2018, I looked for graphic and logo designers. As a buyer, I could either reach out to the seller directly by browsing under the category or post a job, and people would reach out to me. I got involved with five sellers, and they were all had their unique skills and talents. I ended up reaching out to seven different designers because I want to shop around and explore my options. I ordered from four sellers, but only one seller provided me with the best service. Her name is Aanestasiia, and she is from Ukrainian. Aanestasiia had over a thousand reviews and provided fast service.

My current experience as a seller
Fiverr make it very simple and easy for me to post my gig. Since I already have an account, I transitioned myself to a seller. It took me about an hour to create my gig because there were many things to consider: the title, pricing and service options, descriptions, and W-9 form. I browsed around to see how other good sellers had in their title who offer the same service as me.
The service description is also fundamental because I want my consumer to quickly see what I have to offer, recognize my skill set, and build initial trust.
If you are a US-based seller, a W-9 form for tax purposes is required to fill out, and it can take up to 2 to 3 days to review. My approval returned the next day, and I just finished publishing my gig this morning.
