Hello friends, welcome back to my blog.

Do you know that the total amount of money spent on medication reached approximately 539 billion US dollars in 2020? These large expenses can’t go without notice. This fact caught my attention because many people don’t realize that you can get a lot of perks and points by using a credit card to pay for medication.

Recently I was in the search for another credit card for my business purchases. WellsFargo Visa and Chase Freedom are the two credit cards currently in my possession. Throughout this search, I thought about how credit card plays a role in medical expenses. This article will take you through the top three credit cards that I think is the best fit for medication and medical equipment purchases.

Best card for large expenses – Blue Cash Preferred Card from American Express.

My take: You have a longer promotion period with the Blue Cash Preferred Card than other credit cards. I have used this card in the past and they have a great online tool for you to track your spending and pay your bill. Not only you get the $300 bonus, but the cashback is quite generous. First year is $0 annual fee which is great. I didn’t like that I have to pay the annual fee, so I canceled after the first year ends.

Best card for cashback – Chase Freedom Unlimited

My take:Paying healthcare expenses isn’t enjoyable but getting 1.5 percent cash back on the payments can help. For trips booked via Chase, you can receive a 5% refund, 3% cashback offers at dining, 3% cashback offers at pharmacies, and 1.5 percent money rewards on other applicable transactions. Every one of these perks comes in the form of chase rewards points, which may be exchanged for cash back or any other items and services, such as gift vouchers.

Best cards for the elderly – Citi Double Cash

My take:The simple it is, the better for our retirees. This card lets you get some money back on every one of your spending with minimal effort. You’ll get an endless 2% cashback on anything you buy, with 1% whenever you purchase it and 1% once you make your payments. Also, there is no yearly charge to eat into your earnings. You can get the rewards in a cheque, direct transfer, or statement credits. This credit card is simple to use and offers a basic rewards system.

Conclusion

It’s tough to provide a generic suggestion for the top cards without first analyzing your specific buying habits. However, we considered all aspects when compiling the list, and there is something for everybody. I hope it was helpful!

  1. I’m looking for a 7000.00 loan for medical equipment. I need a lift chair, a motorized scooter, and a convertible lift that swing to still allow you to access your trunk!!!
