Today I will show you how to get the “Pin It” button hover above your blog image. Pinterest is so far one of the best tool I use to bring in traffic to my blog. To make it easy for reader to share your post on Pinterest, there are 2 essential steps you need to do:

  1. You need to create an Pinterest graphic ready to go.
  2. A “Pin It” hover button to your image.

To create an Pinterest image:

  1. Create an account with Canva. I choose Canva because it is user friendly, so many selections to choose from and their graphics are amazing.  
  2. Under Create a Design, select Pinterest Graphic as shown below
  3. Create a design with Canva
  4. Customize your own or select from thousands of pre-made templates. 
  5. Download the image once you are done.

To get that “Pin It” button, follow these steps:

  1. Install and activate the Pinterest Pin it Button for Images plugin.
  2. On the left side bar, go to Settings » Pinterest Pin It page to configure the plugin.

You can display it only on single posts, pages, category pages, or everywhere on your site. This is just an example of my current setup.

On the Default Description, you can just leave it as Post Title. Select SAVE after you done setting it up.

    ➡️A massive traffic powerhouse; and
    ➡️One of the most effective traffic generation tools you will ever use.
    However, to make it easier for your images to be pinned, you need the ‘Pin it’ button. And thanks to your tutorial, more people will find it easier to use Pinterest.

    • I think it’s because the theme you installed already has that function. i said that because I used Wix before and all Wix theme the Pin It button hover over the image
